Sometimes we get cutoff in our lives with our problems and everyday things that make us get away from the important things in life, blocking us from paying attention and enjoying the little details of life and, most importantly, to have fun.

Below, there are 10 quick tips that can help you to relax and energize yourself in order for you to be focused and prepared to face the world.

These quick tips will help you get body, mind and spirit synchronized and your batteries fully charged.

1. Breath

Close your eyes and take a deep breath, inhale and exhale real good a few times, let go any tension and worries. Inhale deeply through your nose, then exhale slowly, through your mouth.

Do this few times to relax your muscles and nerves.

2. Turn off your cell phone

Reduce your anxiety and level of stress by turning your cell phone off for a few minutes, get away from people and give yourself time to recharge your batteries.

You can always return calls later.

3. Take a bath or a shower

A hot/warm bath will relax you while a cool/cold bath will energize and bring you to a more awaken state. You can use different soap fragrances to enhance your relaxing time or get some luxury soap to give yourself a star treatment.

4. Laugh

Don't you feel fantastic when you laugh so hard that your belly actually hurts? I love it. Laughing is one of the most relaxing and energizing things you can experience.

Don't take life so serious, nobody comes out alive anyway :)

5. Smile

Always smile... even when you are talking on the phone with people, smile. People actually feel the energy and vibrations from you when you are smiling.

6. Meditate

Set a time to be with yourself and listen to your inner voice. Add your time in your schedule if you are way to busy to think about it.

7. Exercise

Do some kind of exercise. Don't know what to do? Take a walk in a park or by the lake, in your neighborhood trail or just around the block.

You can also ride a bike, swim or just park a little further when you go to the office. By the way, making love is a great way to exercise and improve your relationship with your partner.

8. Listen to Music / Dance / Sing

It can be relaxing instrumental music or your favorite music. Listen to the words and sing along in your own pace and tune.

Close your eyes while you singing and let your emotions flow. Please keep in mind not to do that while you are driving :)

9. Massage

Getting a massage or even doing a massage can be very relaxing and energizing.

Use lotion/oil (with or without fragrance) to reduce friction between skin-to-skin contact and to make the massage much more effective and relaxing.

You can dim the lights and play some relaxing music in the background to make the atmosphere even more relaxing.

10. Cook

Cooking and eating health not only relaxes you but also makes you feel better, knowing that you are doing good for your body.

A health and nutritious meal is not hard to prepare and it can be fun if you are doing it with someone you love.
